Hello! I'm Kadi

BSN, RN, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor 

It's so amazing to meet you! I'm a Texarkana native who is invested in supporting this wonderful community through providing evidence- based lactation counseling servies. As a women's health nurse for over a decade and breastfeeding alum, I have a passion for helping parents achieve their lactation and breastfeeding goals!

My Education and Experience

I started my nursing career in 2012 as a LPN graduate from Texarkana College. In 2018, I completed by Bachelor's in Nursing Science at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice- Family Nurse Practitioner at UAMS and enjoying enhancing my knowledge of nursing practice.

I have spent a majority of my career supporting parents and newborns in both inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings. My experience spans from outpatient clinic high-risk obstetric care to inpatient labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery care. All of these areas have prepared me with the experience needed to assist your growing family!

• 12 years of nursing experience, current Arkansas Registered Nurse

• Certified Breastfeeding Counselor since January 2020

• Bachelor's in Nursing Science from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS)
